Your Managment Team
David Marshall - Business Development Director
David is responsible for the business development and client care team.
He has skills in both technology and the technical tax aspects of making R&D claims.
Prior to joining Alma, David worked for a specialist R&D tax recovery business. Previously, he founded and has been on the board of three start-up companies, establishing a revenue stream of more than € 25m in the first company, assisting another to a trade sale exit and another to an IPO.
In addition to this, David has 14 years experience working for large American corporations such as Tyco, responsible for business development, sales and marketing and acquisition integration. David studied for a Masters in Business Administration, at Cranfield/Leicester University majoring in strategic planning.
David holds a Degree in Management Studies from Leicester University majoring in Finance and a Higher National Diploma in Communications Electronics from Southgate College.
Peter Denison-Pender - Managing Director
Peter is an expert on R&D Tax Relief.
He has been responsible for initiating and reclaiming millions of pounds in cash and tax benefits for numerous clients. He has been a prominent lobbyist of the Government and relevant authorities, he has spoken at a range of industry events, and written numerous articles for trade journals.
His prior experience includes a decade as an analyst and investor in the UK early stage technology venture capital sector. He trained in the City of London with Hambros Plc.
Peter is a Fellow of the Institute of Charted Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFA). He holds a BSc in Economics and Economic History from Exeter University.
